Well, once again I have been neglecting this sad little xanga. But I want to thank my faithful readers for not giving up hope. Since I last wrote I have taken a summer class for the first half of the summer,and worked at Camp Tejas for the second half of the summer.
Death has visited our family once more, my maternal grandmother passed away in July. It was rather sudden and unexpected. She had gotten sick with diverticulitis last Janurary and we thought the problem had been taken care of. But as the months went by she began to get sick again and so we put her back into the hospital in July. She went through one surgery and never really recovered, she just held on, then she was rushed into one more emergency surgery from which she never recovered. It was a stressful time especially for me. I was three and a half hours away in Giddings Texas. But thankfully God had given me a very understanding boss who let me take some time off. I was there holding my grandmothers hand until she drew her last breath on July 28 at 4:25 am she went to be with her Maker. The months went by and we picked up the pieces continually trusting God knowing that she is better off with Him.
Now as October draws nearer we prepare for a new addition to our family!!! Alena Grace Dudley will soon be here!!! We are all very excited!! As for me I am taking a few courses this semester. I have applied once more for LVN school at AC. I will know by the end of October wether or not I have been accepted. I am trusting God with this knowing that no matter what happens it will be for the best. Many of you may remember that I graduated form Medical Assistance school in May, I had no luck in finding a job, no one in my class has been able to find a job, last I heard. It was a disappointment but I know that God has it in His hands and all I need to do is trust and obey.
Many of you may also remember that my younger brother has been in Prison these last two years. He will be released on October 28. We are praying that he has had a change of heart and has chosen to live a Godly life. Only time will tell.
As you can tell there is a lot going on in my life and I even left some stuff out! I will try my hardest to keep up with this blog over the next fews months so that those of you who still read it will know what is happening. But as for now that is all I have to say. God bless all of you!
